General Information

Hi everyone,

For those who don't know me yet, I am Tash Campbell and I teach the wonderful year 3 and 4’s in Room 3. How exciting is it to be at the start of a new school year? I hope you and your tamariki are as excited as I am!

A little bit about me; I have been in South Taranaki for about ten years. My husband is also a teacher. Most of our children are now adults but we have two who are in their high school years. We also have two naughty dogs who take up a lot of our time (and chew things that they shouldn’t), but are very much a part of our family - you may hear stories about what Denver and Jade got up to while we were at school from your children.

I really look forward to getting to know you all and reconnecting with those families who are returning to Room 3. Please don’t hesitate to contact me in my email (above) if you have any queries, concerns or wonderings.

I am thrilled to be welcoming a dynamic group of Year 4 and 5 students into Room 1 this year. Having been a part of the Normanby Primary whānau for six years, it's a pleasure to see familiar faces from when they were in Year 1 and to witness their growth and learning journey.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in integrating everyday experiences into learning, with a keen interest in sports and technology. I'm particularly excited about our upcoming school camp, as some of my own cherished childhood memories stem from similar camping adventures.

Outside of school, my world revolves around my family. My eldest son, Edison, who is 3, fills our lives with joy, and we've recently welcomed our newest member, Franklin, born in September last year. They've made our life's adventure even more delightful. When not engaged in family time, I'm usually found working on our 110-year-old villa in Hawera, which is a project of love and dedication.

Communication is key, so please don't hesitate to reach out via email with any concerns or needs you might have. I am committed to responding as promptly as possible.

Looking forward to a fantastic year ahead with all of you!
