PRE-ENROLMENTS
We understand that starting school is a very big step. Therefore we aim to make the transition as smooth as possible for your child and whanau.
We encourage the parents of all new entrants to pre-enrol their child prior to their fifth birthday, where possible. To enrol you can come in to the school office or enrol online by clicking on the following link.
Parents you are invited to visit the school and new entrant classrooms with your child for transition sessions before they officially start. This can be arranged by contacting the school office, who will liaise with the new entrant teachers and principal. We will then advise you of the times, dates and any important information.
As part of the transition process our new entrant teacher and or principal can also arrange for a meeting with you. The purpose of this visit is to introduce yourself and your child, to get to know each other and to discuss your aspirations for your child as they start their school journey. If you are interested in a one of these visits please let Kay in the office know and she will arrange this for you.
You are welcome to accompany your child to the classroom for “school visits” before they officially start school.
