Maz Prince

My name is Marion Prince and I am the Chairperson of the Normanby School Board of Trustees. I have been a Trustee at Normanby School for five years and am currently in my second term of being on the BOT.

I have two daughters currently at Normanby School, Molly who is a Year 6 student and Kaia who is a Year 3 student. I also have a son Connor who is 3yrs old and he will be starting school next year. I love to keep active and enjoy being a huge rugby fan - go the Hurricanes!

I love being a Trustee as it allows me to give back to the school. I initially was on the PTA but soon realised that I wanted to give to the school more of my skills and experience of being in management/ leadership workplace positions. I love working with the Principal, Staff and the Community for the benefit of our children. Being on the Board as part of a team of people who are committed to continually bettering our children’s learning environments and outcomes is extremely rewarding.

Sheree Ogle

Hi I’m Sheree Ogle, Isabella’s Mum.
I’m born and bred in South Taranaki and while I did venture overseas for a bit it has been wonderful to return home to our close knit community.
I currently work in the Projects team at Fonterra Whareroa which allows me to have a good work/life balance.
It is my privilege to be a parent representative on the Board of Trustees and to continue steering the school through the years my child is attending.  I believe the school vision is perfect to set our children up going forward in life.  I enjoy being able to use my skills and background to consider and deal with issues objectively at a governance level ensuring all decisions are in the best interests of the school and most importantly for the children.

Mesina Fabish

Hi I'm Mesina. I have three kids, Cody who has now finished at Normanby and moved to Intermediate, Lily who is in Year 4 (Room 8 with Mrs J) and Bella who will start at Normanby at the beginning of next year. I am into my second term on the BOT and enjoy being a part of the governance team and helping to lead the direction of the school.

Vicki Roberts

Tena koutou katoa.  Mihi mahana ki a tatou katoa, nga whanau whanui o te Kura o Matariki – Hello, Greetings to the people and families of Normanby School.

My name is Vicki Roberts. I am mum to two children - Lani who has just started school, son Rico and my partner is Doug. I am currently employed at Fonterra, Whareroa working in the Laboratory.

Over time, I’ve had a passion of sports and through this I have welcomed the idea of giving back to the community. I have found myself actively involved as Premier Coach of Naumai Netball Team, Normanby League Club as President, organiser of Local Netball Competition and organiser of Hawera Touch Module. All very enjoyable and rewarding roles.

I see Normanby as the heart of our community, so having a connection I would like to contribute my time and skills to ensuring the BOT operates legally and ethically in the best interests of all students.  We need to ensure all students get a high-quality education that will prepare them to survive and thrive in the world by the time they leave school as well as making enjoyable memories.

Normanby Schools’ values for students to be ‘Respectful, Responsible, Caring, Honest, Creative, Successful and to Persevere’ puts the children in great stead to achieve this with the active support of the Board. These are values at the heart of my everyday employment and community involvement. I am enthusiastic, driven, friendly and approachable. I have the confidence to share my views and contribute, as well as take on feedback and suggestions. I look forward to assisting other trustees on the BOT and supporting the staff to help strengthen our position.

Angelika Fowlie

Hello, my name is Angelika Fowlie.

I was born in Germany but have lived in New Zealand for over 13 years. My husband is a kiwi and we have 3 kids together, Killian, Leonidas and Selene. My two boys are attending Normanby School, Killian in Room 8 and Leonidas in Room 6.

My children's educational needs and development are very important to me, and I believe that all kids deserve equal opportunities throughout their educational journey.

I want to support the Normanby School community with my background knowledge in organising and managing. But more so, to ensure that the children at Normanby School have the opportunities to be the best they can be.

I hold a German Master’s Degree in floristry and a Diploma in Homeopathy, and was treasurer on the Koromiko Kindergarten committee. At the moment I’m self-employed.

I like to challenge myself and increase my knowledge, and I believe this helps me for the role of a Board of Trustee.
