We are seeking a new tumuaki to join us from Term 3 2024.

Normanby School is bursting with enthusiastic students, dedicated and hardworking staff and a supportive community. We are situated semi-rurally in South Taranaki, a 5 minute drive from Hawera and 45 minutes from New Plymouth; close to both the sea and our beautiful Maunga Taranaki.

At Normanby School we pride ourselves on providing high quality teaching and learning programmes in a supportive and caring, family-like culture. We are very well resourced, have small class sizes and offer a rich and broad curriculum while also ensuring that there is a strong foundation of teaching in literacy and numeracy. We are very proud of the skills and talents of our students.

We seek an experienced leader who has the skills to consolidate and build on the current strengths of our school and who will work in collaboration with all stakeholders to continue enhancing our strong improvement focused culture.

Have curriculum design experience
Have exceptional communication and listening skills and upholds restorative practices
